  1. I love your stuff… so wholesome, homely and unique… just like you. Thanks.

A seasonal question… do you have any inspiring, creative things to do with green tomatoes? I’m so bored with chutney!

Keep up the good work… and thanks again

I was so hoping your two biscuit recipes from the Christmas show were going to be posted here! In America we don’t have “biscuits” like you do there but they looked and sounded so amazing that I wanted to try them too!!!

Just started watching BBB and me and my boyfriend were rooting for you to win from the start.

Do you have any tips on making pretzels? I can’t seem to make the lauge bath.

    • MAB says:

      Wotchers Helena!
Alas, I have never attempted pretzels, so I am unable to offer anything of use bar my good wishes for success and my admiration for your fearlessness!
      Good luck!

    Morning Mary-Anne

I was wondering you had an suggestions or receipes for some sides dishes to go with soup and a tex mex style dish. Any suggestions. 🙂

The first things that springs to mind is salad – bring some freshness to brighten and lighten things up. I make something I call a Harlequin Salad, – no recipe really – just a whole load of fresh salad stuff cut into 1cm cubes: tomatoes, celery, cucumber, radish, peppers, sweetcorn, olives, capers, etc. A little chopped fresh mint is great too. For a dressing I’d suggest chilli vinegar: chop some fresh chillies into white wine vinegar and let them infuse for 30 minutes, then pour over & toss to serve. To go with this mountain of freshness, I’d recommend a coleslaw with a dressing of half yogurt, half mayo, bit of lemon juice, pepper & salt. I like the simplicity of just carrot and white cabbage, but the combination of white cabbage, fennel and a sharp juicy apple (Braeburn or Jazz) is lovely.
      Hope this helps!
      MAB 😀
